back button is always there yes, it's not your typical sideload. (scroll up feature doesn't work) Yes, they would look better on the Z10 because of the screen. But since it's in native android code you can't tell the difference between the 2. At least me and my friends can't.

But sometimes it takes a few seconds longer to launch an app then a HTC One/ S4 after restarting your phone but that's probably because it's just loading up the Android Runtime or something. After the first launch then it opens right away every time.

Another bad side is since it's native android code you do see the advertisements.. at the bottom like in the My Fitness Pal app

I just purchased a Fitbit Flex over the weekend. I like the simplicity of it and the natural comfort by use of a band.

I really hope that it's syncs. I'll probably try it later when I get home.

    Thanks.

The reviews on it functionality wise is killing UP by Jawbone except maybe the battery(because of bluetooth, amazing sacrifice) and REM alarm for deep sleep(i don't think it works as well as it says and the Flex is more accurate sleep wise).

I just want something that sync with My Fitness Pall which the Flex does!

    Hi khehl,

Many thanks for your recent posting that Q10 has BB v10.2 which can run 4.2.2 Android Apps!
Would really appreciate your help to check if Q10 can sideload (and properly run) this program:

    Android App: "Swiss Forex"
    by: Dukascopy Bank SA

    1) Does the program run properly on Q10?

    2) Does it have any UI/interface issues on Q10 (due to Q10's small screen)?

    3) Does Q10 convert long SMS messages into one MMS message?
(I just found out the $#@! way that Samsung Note 2 automatically converts SMS into MMS if it's over 200 characters long!! No option to force send long SMS message(s)).

==>If "Yes" to all above points, I'll be buying my prescious Q10 when it starts selling here in Asia!

Thank you for your kind help in advance!

    Kind regards,
    w0qj

    1. The program seems to run fine but I obviously can't log in
    2. On the Q10 stuff doesn't obviously look at beautiful because of the screen being so small that you have to scroll more for sideloaded android apps. For example in the pictures attach.

But overall the screen UI is exactly like the Z10.
    Nothing is crammed

    3. For a BBM you can send as many characters that you want. In SMS it doesn't convert into MMS but you it's 145 characters per page and you will be sending texts in 145 character increments

Both running fluently, every app that I've tried seems to work on this sideload. Hopefully this helps.

I hate that black bar, I always use the back gesture on android apps and hide the bar. That makes me not want to use 10.2 when it comes out, despite the new features. :/ Bummer

So is the black bar because of 10.2 or because of the way it's side loaded?

I think it's because of 10.2, it seems like it. It's surely not on 10.1 and below. No matter how you sideload so it looks like a 10.2 feature/problem, depending how you look at it.

Everyone here does realize vine is owned by twitter right?

Posted via my awesome community driven Q10
    And...?
Facebook also owns Instagram so it's no indication that is likely to come.

And Twitter develops their app in-house for iOS, Android and Windows Phone. Yet, BlackBerry is forced to develop their own app.

Basically, BB 10 is still not on anyone's priority list.

Lol it has nothing to do with 10.2. Why would 10.2 have anything to do with it? 10.2 isn't even a complete OS and i still have more features then 10.1?

Anyways its just the way it's side loaded. Since it's a native app it has to have the black bar. If you want to side load the old way you can hide the black bar just like in 10.1.

If you don't like the black bar and refuse to do it don't do it the debug token way but you'll be missing out on the whole android app list on Google Play that works perfectly smooth.

    ??

I have a few apps the debug token way that don't have the black bar. In 2.3.3, or am I missing something?

in 10.2 the android menu bar is always there. Smaller, and if the app has a menu (swipe down) there's 3 dots like a Native app.
    Personally, I kinda like it.

Using the new conversion method, once 10.2 is available with the android 4.2.2 runtime we should be able to convert Vine ourselves and use it.
