I wrote this for another thread but felt it would be more appropriate for this section...

While recording a video, you can use a finger (i use my thumb) to tap and hold the focus box so that it's blue instead of it being green or white. It seems as though it focuses better and you can follow objects by simply dragging the focus box around while recording. Or even holding your thumb on the screen while recording. It may seem silly at first but overall I feel I have a better hold of my Z10 while recording.

The best way to test it out is to focus on an object about 6 feet away, record video, place thumb on screen until box is blue, and slowly move toward the object then away from it. After, watch your footage and see if it focuses better

I'm going to test it out on my gf's Q10 to see if it reacts the same way!

*update* you can tap+hold blue box and simultaneously press a volume rocker to record. This allows you to focus and record quicker.
