I've been trying to get netflix installed on my passport and no matter which version I install it hangs for a moment and says 'unable t install software 'or something to that effect.

I'm aware people have gotten this apk to work on previous bb 10 os's but no amount of googling has led me to a solid explanation on the current status of support.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Netflix 3.16.3 is the latest running Netflix for BB10. Everything works well. No issues with aspect ratio.

It can also Cast if patched.

After lots of trial and error, I found that Netflix 3.7.2 is the only one that works properly without screwing up features and aspect ratio.

    Get it here:

    Conite,

I saw you post this version (3.16.3) in another thread few weeks ago and downloaded it but it won't install into my Q10. Tried to install it again (for kicks and to be certain I wasn't doing anything wrong) and still no-go. See screen shots below.

The only version that seems to work properly in my case is as I mentioned earlier (3.7.2) . If you suspect i'm doing something wrong, lemme know.

    Cheers!

*Edit.. when you quote someone's post, the forum tosses a bunch of error html codes in.

Delete old one first. Make sure you have the Runtime fix.

Yes, deleted old one first (as expected), and yes, I did also test out 3.16.0 and it works on mine, BUT it has aspect ratio problems where it flips back and forth during a movie. It is only with 3.16.3 that it refuses to install.

I am on OS10.3.3.2049, do not experience any issues deleting android apps or installing them, therefore I do not think I not need to install the runtime fix. From what i've read, if the runtime on your phone is fine and working perfectly, there is no need to update it, and doing so will FUBAR it.

    Ya?

You're good with the Android Runtime on 10.3.3. No need to fix.

I don't know what to say as I have no issue with 3.16.3 on about a dozen BB10 devices - all on 10.3.3 - of all types.
