My wife & I have identical Z10s. I was running the 537 leak and when the official version came out, I wiped my phone and reinstalled the official 10.2.1 from Rogers. When it finished and I checked the version on my phone, it shows 10.2.1.1925. When I did the upgrade on her phone, it shows 10.2.1.537. I tried wiping her phone & reinstalling and it still shows same version. I know these are supposed to be same versions but the subtle difference is I have option of delaying for 30 minutes before phone locks, whereas her max is 5 min. When I was running the leak, my max was 5 min as well. That is enforced because we hook up to our Exchange server at work through ActiveSync. Anyone else have the same issue? Locking after 5 min can be a pain. I know it's more secure but it's my company and I'm not too worried about the security.

It's the exact same software. Go into Settings -> About -> and select the OS category in the drop down.

the Software Release will be 10.2.1.537 and the OS Version will be 10.2.1.1925.

It's just a matter of how you decide to reference the software-by either the Software Release or the OS Version-if the numbers line up it will be exactly the same, just like in this case.

Thanks. Checked it out and under "Software Release" it says "No Information Available". I wonder if that's why I have the option of up to 30 minutes before lock-out.

I've never seen a screen timeout setting of 30 minutes. 5 has always been the longest available option.

I'm on the leaked 537/1925 now.

Wow maybe something new in 10.2.1? Most is always 5 minutes

Don't know how it happened. As I said, when I updated my wife's phone, hers is still limited to 5 minutes.

    Ah, that one.

I was thinking of the regular screen time out setting in display settings where you have to then press the lock button to turn on the screen and then swipe up to unlock (unless you have allow gestures on lock screen turned on - I don't).

I checked under password setting and I see the 30 minute option. There is also a 1 hour option. But you have to turn device password on to get to it.

And just so you know. In these sections, most of the time we refer to the OS ex 10.2.1.1925 and not the software release (537). Which are the same thing but 1925, 1259, and 1055 are easier to reference using their OS #

I guess you were answered, but I'm not sure if the answer was clear; there's a difference between "screen timeout," and "device lock" settings. Device lock requires a password.

I just downloaded 1925 and am super psyched by some of the changes, but the screen timeout max is still 5 minutes.
