Nothing crazy, but "System" does seem a little high-ish.. it may still be caching/indexing things.

How does it look when set for 24 or 48 hours? Similiar?
It does look similar over 24 or 48 hours. Now that I think about it more though I realize System is higher than normal. Typically Display is the top item for battery drain. Guessing it is still "settling in" so to speak.

I looked back and some of my old device monitor screen captures and system was never above 15% and never more than screen. So yes, I think something abnormal is going on there.

After update and restart all of my text messages no longer say the name of the person that texted just the phone number where their name used to be. I restarted my phone again and no difference.

Pulled battery and restarted but still didn't fix. Then about 10 min later all the names are back. Who knows but it's all back to normal now.

Phone is now bricked after running that update. I am getting a light, then 4 blinking lights. Screen will not turn on at all. Did battery pull 3 times.

People, please do NOT do battery pulls unless the power button is completely unresponsive and does not react to being held down for 10 seconds.

Especially during an OS update as it can corrupt critical core OS files in the process of being written.

In some cases an update will stop showing progress. Better to let it sit, plugged into a charger, up to several hours if necessary, if you can. If there is no progress after a very long time, you can try ONCE to use the power button to reset it.

Repeated battery pulls during an OS update WILL corrupt data and potentially leave the device crippled.

You will need to use the Blackberry Link feature to "Reload Device Software" to recover from that. I hope you have a backup as your on-device data is lost.

Is there any way to get just the 2181 radio? I updated to 10.2.1.2180 using Sachesi and for some reason it change the previous radio version.

You can use Sachesi to download that with the following parameters, and then load it:

    MNC: 310 (USA)
    MCC: 480 (Verizon)
    Device: Z30
    Variant: STA100-3
    Mode: Upgrade

Press the "Grab Links" button, then search for the URL in that list that includes the following text, and download it:

    Code:
    qnx.qcfm.radio.qc8960.wtr5/10.2.1.2181/qc8960.wtr5-10.2.1.2181-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

    Z10?

I'm getting this once every few weeks.

Reboot goes to 100% and it gets stuck there.

This isn't a leak - it's the official Verizon update.

What he is describing with blinking red lights and inability to boot all is the phone is bricked and needs the OS reloaded.

Simply having a stalled or slow restart does not mean the device is bricked.

Most people in such a situation get impatient and then do something dumb like pull the battery, making it even more likely data or the OS itself will get corrupted.

My guess is either you have a huge amount of data in Hub or elsewhere, slowing the boot down, you have some kind of corrupted data, or you have the PIN lock engaged which delays the boot a few minutes with recent BB10 OS builds.
