Just thought I'd report a successful and entirely glitch-free Zoom meeting hosted from my Passport (original, 2014 or whenever they came out, uptodate 10.3.3.3216). Audio tick, video tick, see/hear all participants tick, see shared screens tick albeit rather small, share own screen - well, no; but share docs, pics, yes.
I just thought that was great for BB10 in 2020.
I installed Zoom 4.4.52582 from the UpToDown repository. There are other later versions offered but I've learned to stick with what works. If anybody tries a later version that works well, please advise.
Haven't tried it on my Z10 - just feel that surely Zoom is architecture-needy and things would jitter or just seize. But, dunno, could give it a try.
Sorry for sharing something trite, if this is. Just thought, BB can still keep up with the times and a very current very relevant requirement.

I have the native Zoom installed and it used to work well. Haven't used it for a while but I suspect it still works good...

Not gonna work for much longer:

Wouldn't hold out much hope in Zoom 5.0 supporting Android 4.3 either....

The native Zoom works well for me on my Passport but, admittedly only use it as a video chat. Don't know if it has all the sharing functions etc. I guess Zoom is coming to an end on BB10 around about this May 30th or so.

Ahh, ok, I wasn't up to speed on that. I'm just going to delete it of my Classic then...

    You tell us.....

Based on their messages, everyone has to be on Zoom 5.0 now, as they are know using encryption across the board.

I can report that the native client it's pretty much dead now.

It's quite sad. I happened to be surprised that Zoom worked on my Passport, only to find out I was one day before the transition to version 5.

Passport in 2020, believe it or not.

Kinda same feeling here. I was thrilled about using my Passport to meet with my colleagues. It lasted like 3 weeks and then - boom - gone, like everything that I love. Hahahaha

It was a simple business arrangement that benefited both... for a while. Once the money stopped flowing, so did the relationship.

Let's face it, even if Zoom wanted to offer a solution.... BBW isn't taking updated apps.

Until they weren't. Zoom caught BlackBerry fooling around in Android club with multiple video apps. You know once a committed developer scorned......
