You use a USB OTG cable which is a Male Micro USB B to a Female USB A cable. You plug the male bit into the Micro USB port on the phone and then a flash drive into the Female USB port and then open File Manager on the device.
Tap on the connected USB drive and voila!

    Mmm...CB10! Just the tip though...

That is actually just so that you can plug your phone into a PC, Mac or any other uPnP device and not need drivers. This way, the device can access files on your media card. It has nothing to do with the USB OTG.

I bought a cheap USB OTG adapter and tried it with two different flash drives.

For some reason, Evolution Browser starts up every time and I get an error USB Devices Problems. Go to Storage settings for details.

But I don?t seem to be able to find any details.

I don't get that error. Anytime I try to transfer a larger file, like a 1 gig movie, I get an error that says I don't have permission to transfer this file. Or sometimes it just tells me I can't write to read only. Once I turned mass storage on, I actually got through the entire 1 gig transfer before I got the permissions error. I've tried formatting to exfat, fat, and fat32. But if I send a small file like a pic or doc it works fine. Am I missing something here or can we just not transfer video files otg?

Hi. This problem exactly cable sourced. I had the same thing the otg cable was broken from since i bought. Cosmetically seems nothing but inside that a cable is broken. Buy another otg cable and try it.

Just plug the adapter and use it; nothing to it. You can find the adapter on Amazon for a couple of bucks.
