    Question...if I buy a used bb10 device I saw one on ebay, one was z30 other was z10 they are both Verizon phones. Would I be able to use bbm to communicate with other bb10 phones with just wifi, also would the pin messages work with other bb10 ten phone just through wifi?

    BBM works over Wi-Fi for BB10.

    Yes, one needs a BBID to access BBM.

    I haven't tried legacy PIN messaging in many, many years. Not sure why you would need this with BBM.

    BBM works great on BB10. My whole family uses it as our primary communications channel.

    Make sure you actually message a legitimate contact...

    Only consumer BBM for Android / iOS was shut down; BBM for BB10 still works, and Android / iOS users are on BBM Enterprise now.

    BBM works great for me. You just need other people with a BB10 phone. Messaging, video calls, crystal clear voice calls and option of disappearing messages all in one.

    If u have bb10 only works with bb10, however if someone has bbm enterprise they have to add you, you can't add them for some reason & regular bbm does not work anymore for android and iphone I'm sure it's something like that or another lol
