Have any of the US carriers released 10.3 yet. I understand that 10.3.1 is underway. I know T mobile was the first in releasing updates followed by Verizon and AT&T. But with T mobile no longer supporting BlackBerry, are they obligated to release any more OS updates. Wanted to know before I decided to load an official update or if waiting was actually plausible this time.

10.3 is only available for the passport. All other phones have to wait till 10.3.1

Which means no... Since no US carrier carries the phone, it means no carrier will release an update. Period.
US carriers will be testing 10.3.1, and ATT won't carry the passport until the passport is updated to 10.3.1. See how that works?

We've been down this road before. You must know the official will take forever.

Load 10.3.0.1052 - runs as smooth as butter on my Q10

My burden was specifically " T mobile " as stated in my post.... They have dropped BlackBerry or vice versa. So will " any " updates be released by T mobile for BlackBerry devices or have they discontinued all updates.

Depends on how you are tied to T-Mobile. If you're on contract, and that would be for any remaining "in-contract" BlackBerry's on their network, they likely have to provide updates to such phones still under service contract.

Once they are all up... who knows.

But, It could be that BlackBerry will treat all phones on the T-Mobile network (and they can tell which ones are on what carrier) the same as unlocked phones, and will push updates on their own after all initial carriers and then the factory unlocked phones get their updates.

But I don't think anything official has been stated.

Where did you get this info from? First I've heard it.

I guess the best response would be time will tell. With 10.3.1 expected at the end of the year I wouldn't fathom having it until Early 2015. Now with T mobile disengaging with BlackBerry... they even have less of an obligation... so we could push that to Spring of 2015 perhaps... and that's if they are even releasing updates still which seems undetermined at this instance.
