Hello everyone,

I'm fellow Blackberry user from Greece. For the last months I read all about the os update from 10.2 to 10.3 and I ve been waiting the official release so that I can update my phone "legaly"...however whenever I check for software updates at the settings it says that I have the latest software (Im currently using 10.2.1.2977 on a blackberry z10 stl 100-4)..what do you advise me to do in order to upgrade my software and could you please show me the way that I can do since Im a total amateur about these things?

Thanks a lot!

Over the Air updates are issues by your carrier. If they forget to push the OS, you'll simply never get it that way.

If you want to update now, you can do it destructively or non-destructively.

Destructively update
How to do it: Get an autoloader, plug device to PC, run autoloader
Pros:

  • Fast update (around 5-10 minutes);
  • Lowest chance of bugs.

Cons:
  • Device wiped to factory settings;
  • Loss of all user data;
  • Slow deployment - update, setup, install apps, setup apps, use.

Non-Destructively update

How to do it: Download Sachesi or Darcy Tools, download the Blitz file, plug device to PC, have it be recognized by Linkm run Sachesi, drag/drop Blitz file into Install tab.
Pros:
  • No loss of data
  • Fast deployment - update, use.

Cons:
  • Slow update (around 20-40 minutes)
  • Bugs may carry over
  • Possibility of new bugs due to incompatibilities

All the files you'll need can be found here on the forusm.
