Where the heck are you located? I purchased mine at an AT&T Corp store in Burlington Mass. From what I've seen, only the Corp stores demo and stock them!!

Thanks for your detailed analysis. Agree with your findings but still I am on the fence what to do - stick with Q10 or twist but twist to what I remain unsure with.

Buy a used Z30 and use it until the slider arrives. If it's not to your liking, you still have your upgrade and you can re-evaluate then!

I was (and still a bit there and here) a Q10 user.

I was a bit scared by the Passport first too.
Because I like 1 hand operations, and because I have very little hands.

I had to get on a shop there (Paris) to try the beast out on my little hands!

And I was positively shocked!
Of course you canot do all things one hand as Q10 for exemple, but I still (after 3months of use) do some operations one handed (as browsing, reading and simple texting.

I still use a bit my Q10 for the nostalgia, but damn that Passport is a really upgrade (Classic wasn't from a Q point of view)!
Very rock solid and powerful device, and I feel that I can appreciate more the full BB10 experience: full featured with lot of power!

I had to adapt a bit first, but depending of the learning curve capacity, that could be relatively fast.

If I hadn't jump on the PP bandwagon, I would probably pick up another Q waiting for its successor, but I would have missed such a very pleasant experience.

Cheers for your thoughts. Tempted to order a passport and use the cooling off period to decide if it suits my needs or not.

I will be upgrading from a Q10 to a new BB10 device in a few weeks.
I've chosen to go with the Classic because the Passport is too big for me. I have never liked huge phones and I don't like all-touch devices so that rules out the others. I can live without the track pad but I have really missed the call and end buttons.

Pretty damn impressive isn't !! Most people I show it to are equally impressed!! I've had mine for close to 7 weeks and I still can't put it down...even wifie is jealous!!!
