I got a notification on software update for 85 mb and downloaded it. Now the Android runtime fix on bw is not showing anymore. I guess I got the right update OTA.

I doubt it. I think you have just returned to the. 2876 runtime=bad. I hope that I am wrong though.

What we got here is failure to communicate....

It's not working (download error) in Romania. I'm running a Passport Silver Edition on Digi Mobil. Let's hope we get a quick fix. A Mega mirror link would be nice

I am already in 2876. Never install the bar files of 2813. So I guess it's safe to assume that the update is the runtime fix.

If so then BlackBerry starts rolling out OTA parallel with BBW update.

I've installed the BBW update two days ago, got OTA update of 58 KB!!! this morning. Installed, phone didn't even reboot. All android apps stopped working. Simple restart of the phone and all is good

(almost 85MB). Everything went fine, but I had to do a hard reset to get my Android apps working properly again. The Android apps wouldn't open after I updated the runtime.
No wonder... did you read the description at BBW?

    saying:
    Reboot after Update!

That question was asked in a few posts above, the answer Conite gave was it can't be extracted. The answer was no.

Untrue. Only the Android .bar's from the previous OS have been posted to get around the "apps not removed" bug.
Correct, this bar files are the same.
The patch on BBW are these 2 files.
The 2 bar files are 84 mb in size, exactly the same size as in BBW.

I don't think the Runtime update files are the same as the ones posted here on CB as a fix. Just because those are the same size isn't proof the files are identical.

But they do the same and working perfectly.
I can't download the BBW patch to verify that with my Z10. Have these facking network error.

    your guess is right:

    RT from xxx.2813 = sys.android-10.3.2.231.bar
is 84.5MB+ the few 56.1kb for the sys.android-shell.bar

    RT from xxx.2876 = sys.android-10.3.2.348.bar
is 84.5MB+ the few 56.1kb for the sys.android-shell.bar

    RT update patch for xxx.2876 = sys.android-10.3.2.371
    is 84.5MB + the few 56.1kb for the sys.android-shell.bar

wonder why folks asking which RT is newer?

For those with a network error, try this:

I was able to fix the error message from BBW on my Z10 by simply going to: > Settings > About > Category > then choose Network > then click on the three black dots on bottom right corner of the screen > Choose Register Blackberry.

Make sure to wait for a message and then your BBW should be back online.
