I don't know what codec is being used in the file you are downloading. Even if it is the same container format, the codec may be different.

Did you reboot your device to ensure it's just not a little glitch?

I did reboot my device, and I downloaded the nutty player but it's only for videos, my problem is with mp3 files, 2 weeks ago I could download songs no problem with no errors but now when I open the song I downloaded I get that message

That doesn't make any sense. Try playing an mp3 from a different source other than this site that you download from. That will tell you if it's a problem with the specific files from the site or if it's with all mp3s.

Yes I'm sure it's an mp3 file, from a website that I used to download music from and it used to work, I think that happed after the (76) mbs update

then make a backup of your phone and download a different OS and install it. You can't keep making threads about the same issue.

Download a new OS to your PC and install it on your phone and then try the music. Make a backup first.
