Universal Search: Add application

Hey all,

I like to use the universal search for a lot of things. Contacts, messages, media and also navigation. I installed an app called MAPS.me and I would like to have this app connected to the Universal search options.

So is there any way to integrate apps into the universal search besides the already existing apps you can pick from?

Any solution for this?

You mean by typing an address In Universal Search, and by using the Instant Action feature I assume ? The developers have to add a hook for that... Ask them.

And I just contacted the developers.

The response was that MAPS.ME is just an Android port and the team is not working on any kind of implementation into BlackBerry Universal search.

Remind them the BlackBerry Priv runs Android. Maybe since BlackBerry Universal Search is now available on the Priv they may change their mind.
