Hi guys this is my first post at crackberry, I just want to say that i'm very happy with this forum, it's get me a lot of information regarding blackberry. I'm using Q10 and recently I just updated my android whatssapp to ver 2.18.213 and I got error message "unfortunately whatssapp has stop" this happen for message I haven't open (read), for message I already open works fine, do you guys have same problem with me? I already uninstall and reinstall whatssapp but the problem still occur. Thanks for your help.

I'm on 2.18.216 and no issues at all. U might wanna uninstall it then reinstall it back and see if that fixes the issue.

Hi, my father uses Android WhatsApp on his Z30 and we noticed this issue on chats where there had been a lost call. We were able to solve it by going to the WhatsApp calls registry and erased all the entries. Try it, hopefully it'll solve the issue for you too.

Hi, my father uses Android WhatsApp on his Z30 and we noticed this issue on chats where there had been a lost call. We were able to solve it by going to the WhatsApp calls registry and erased all the entries. Try it, hopefully it'll solve the issue for you too.

@Clickm3: Regarding your doubt, check the attached image. As you can see, there is a section for the registry of WhatsApp calls (it's separate from the chat section). There, you need to erase each call entry.

I'm having this issue lately, I have that error when I click an user that I don't get in touch very often, I deleted and re installed but still the same message error, it kicks me out from W.A.

Hi guys, I'm facing the same problem. Im using bb classic release software 10.3.3.2137 and WA 2.18.213 found that error (unfortunately whatsapp stopped) after got whatsapp call. Have tried installed older version, it was worked well but then it told me to upgrade. Then I installed back ver2.18.213 and came back with the same problem. Which whatsapp version that suits with my blackberry? And what caused this problem?
Got frustated of this problem now I have to wait 12 hrs to get sms verification.

You can also use WhatsApp Web for reading the message which crashes the app and then clear the chat.

This bug was introduced recently, for me it only effects two contacts, when it happens I delete the chat that is giving me the error and start a new one. All other chats are OK so I'm not sure what is special about these users.

you will get be fine video call and voice call
but after that, you will erorr force close it self.
so I recoment you download 2.18.191
if after download it you got erorr video call like screen upside down,i think your android runtime have some bug, so update your android runtime
but if still same erorr, you must reload your os on 10.3.3.2049(execpt z10)

Hum..Zut!! je m'exprime mieux en français et comprenne qui pourra..
m'est avis que WhatsApp ne pourra plus jamais fonctionner parfaitement sous BB10 mais après avoir installé whatsfixer on a toujours pas mal de possibilités.. il reste possible d'échanger et de converser par chat ou en vidéo, le seul problème est d'envoyer des vidéos pré-enregistrées encore que cela fonctionne toujours ...si tant est que l'on ait reçu lesdites vidéos..
après moultes essais il ne me semble pas possible de faire fonctionner à coup sur correctement des envois de vidéos quelques soient les divers OS ou diverses versions de WhatsApp..
Qu'on se le dise!!!

Thanks. I had the same problem but I have deleted all calls and all the contacts are accessible and works perfect now. I wouldn't think ever that this was the solution. Great to know that there are clever people around.
