I personally love to have this Device Monitor thing with the release of 10.2.1 and I believe this has become a handy tool as well to other users out there.

Everything seems to be plain and simple navigating with the options that we had:
    1. Hardware - Software Perspective; view your actual phone usage/consumption as to which apps consumes your battery, cpu, memory and storage.
    2. Software - Hardware Perspective; view how your apps behaves within your device, which time of day does it performs most? performs less?

I only categorized it into two options, but this is enough to give you information troubleshooting your device and even the apps you installed.

The most confusing is the "Battery remaining part", my personal observation was that it is just a forecast based on our previous usage (though I'm not sure what timeframe parameter was used by the dev to determine that forecast). I've seen several users already concluded their battery/device performance based on that forecasted value. I hope I could guide everyone that WE SHOULD NOT base our conclusion on it.

It is still best that we look and analyze our previous usage and not that forecast.

In my case I could say that my Q10 last me about 24h with my pattern of mobile usage. ~25h running since last charge and I still have 26% power remaining.

I am just getting familiar with my Z10 and after reading your post I'm confused about my batteries charge state.

The long flat line on the graph shows it plugged in and on charge last night. So why does it appear that it didn't charge to 100%?

Hmmmm, well after a full charge it's now showing 100% but battery time remaining is only 4 hours… Not to be cynical but the device monitor seems highly inaccurate and a bit pointless.

It calculates that time depending on your usage at the moment you checked, if you don't use your phone for a while and open device monitor, you will see more time remaining.

    Thanks for handling it "TheSmartMale".

Melfee, I agree that the battery remaining part is confusing, we do not have the exact figure of how it was developed, but most of us agree that it was derived somewhere between the time duration of our actual usage.

However, it was just one of its feature, the device monitor could still help in some other ways.
