I just received a z10 and it has the 10.1 OS. I did a check updates on both phone and bb link and it doesn't show anything is available. Any suggestions?

Search in the forums about using Sachesi (the non destructive method to update) or a Autoloader (the destructive method).

Only to be clear, the only that is "destroyed" is the data of the phone. If you recently bought the phone and do not have much information (like contacts, apps or others) I recommend you use the Autoloader method, this make a complete delete of the phone and ensures a clean update without any remaining of the previous files (and more because you are upgrading from a old OS).

I have AT&T, I had a z10 last mont and I am almost certain that AT&T had a 10.2 upgrade...however.,I may be wrong and might've done it via auto loader. I don't remember

Ok, now I'm confused... I have 2 z10 did not show any updates but the other one shows I have a 10.2,update...I'm confused. Can someone in confuse me please?

Here's step-by-step instructions:

1. extract file.
2. backup with Link
3. set on link that it will not start when device is plugged in pc
4. close link
5. remove device password.
6. launch exe file (autoloader)
7. connect the device
8. wait until process finishes and device will reboot to welcome screen.
9. unplug device.
10. set up / restore from link (highly not recommended - I allways setup from new, all contacts are synced with gmail) - if you restore - choose NOT TO RESTORE SETTINGS.
11. that's it

I gave up on 10.3,for tonight, can't get it to open...I did it via bit the first time I will try via Mega tomorrow

yup, sometimes archives gets corrupted. you should try to extract it with 7zip, but Winrar does the job as well.

also, try to connect phone to pc with Link. Maybe link will show you the update?

Able to do it via mega instead of the other option. Doing one phone tonight. The other tomorrow.
