I have searched, and if there is a thread already my apologies,.

After the update (10.3.0.1052) I cannot open any android apps, or even install through snap... not sure if I missed something,or just need to reinstall again? Any help appreciated

SNAP installed Android Apps work for me. (you did reboot?)

Not sure what method you used to install, but try again.

Did you do a restore from backup once you installed the beta OS?

Used SNAP...but they do not finish installing... it hangs on "processing" when trying to install

Could be. Have seen the DROID Player get mucked up when restored.

Finally got the file installed... no change... still just starts loading the android app then disappears... and trying to load apps through snap it says "initializing" goes to "processing" and then hangs there.... looks like I am going to have to reinstall OS.... grrrr

I had this problem but it was because the installer was hanging and frozen in BBW on an app.once I killed the app that was hung up, the Android runtime and install worked

When you restore you have to select custom and uncheck blackberry runtime under application data.

Yep. This is what I did wrong the first time and all my Android apps wouldn't work. A security wipe and selective restore fixed the issue.

Apparently the mac version of link doesn't allow a selective restore so that could be a problem for some.

I was facing a similar problem, but I couldn't open any Android apps even before I restored. For anyone in a similar situation, just do a security wipe and then go ahead with the custom restore, making sure you uncheck BlackBerry Runtime. If your backup was made on a Mac (like mine was), then you'll have to restore first, then use Link on WIndows to do a backup, then you can do a custom restore. Dragging the .bbb file over to Windows does not work, sadly.

Now, if I could just find a solution to my radio issues.
