So last night I got a notification for this update. Had to delete a lot of apps and games to free up space because of the Other Data issue. After about FOUR hard resets I managed to get those things to stay off the phone. The update was only 437meg so I downloaded it. After 4 hours (slow internet) it was finished. Only to be immediately replaced by another 909megs update. And showing I was STILL on 10.1. It was too late so I left it till today. Only now I cannot update it. Here is why...



This is what I currently have free.



Here it clearly shows that the update is small. But I need a ludicrous 2.7Gig free for a 900meg update. Funny thing is, last night the second round actually started before I had to cancel due to it being late.

Now I do a hard reset, check for a new update, and still that happens. It says "mb mb" though.

Has anyone experienced this? My phone is the STL100-1. And currently BB is really pushing my patience

Mine did it all in one go. Not two like your's. Maybe thats where the problem lies.

I didn't expect it to be a two part update which bugged me. Trying to see what I can delete/move. But Other Data still leaves me with trash data. Hope I can actually eventually download 10.2......

Would a security wipe fix this? And if so, and WITHOUT Blackberry Link, what effects would it have on my phone?

Of course it'll give you space as a security wipe deletes all apps, games, music, pictures, videos and misc data. Thereby freeing a ton of space.

Then, the upgrade will go fine.
