    BB10 has a lot of nice things going for it but, what do you think are the worst bits of BB10?

    I think the worst bit of BB10 is the security wipe.
    Countless folks have come looking for advice when their security wipe gets to ~98% complete and stays that way for days.
    These folks are naturally nervous to reboot their device but that is what they must do.

    Pretty bush league, no?

    I totally agree with you on this. The only reason for doing a Security Wipe is if you don't have a computer to reload your OS. SW is a massive waste of time and one of the most frustrating processes BlackBerry has ever devised.

    I've never understood the security wipe. If you need to wipe, use an autoloader and kill two birds with one stone.

    On the other hand, even when it fails, it succeeds.

    Which brings me to the next veruca. Probably the most common reason for doing one or both of these things was to restore performance to acceptable levels. Supporting trim and/or ssd garbage collection would have made this unnecessary for the most part.

    Slow cpu? S4plus is one of the fastest cpus even today, its faster than some that claim 2ghz or higher, but this one actually provides those 1.5ghz with perfect combo with gpu 225

    Worst thing on bb...hm...battery calibration. Never ever shows how much exactly battery is left. Every time when it comes to 20% battery level, i reboot my device and wow 37 or even 40+ battery left. And no matter new or old device or battery.

    Security wipe is for users for whom using an autoloader before releasing control of the device is not sufficient for security, statutory or other reasons. Like a lot of things built into BBOS and BB10 not meant for the average consumer.

    Small but slightly annoying items:

    - Battery percentage never shows 86% -- 87 goes down to 85.
    - Data toggle can't be a quick setting
    - No dark hub (I know, I know)
    - Can't have weather on lock screen without some kind of unsatisfying workaround

    Yup that data toggle should be on the quick setting. And it's a pain down there.

    * I don't see this being of any consequence (1% point makes no difference at all)

    - Data toggle can't be a quick setting

    * This can be added to the Quick Settings very easily, I have had it ever since I purchased my Q10 years ago.

    - No dark hub (I know, I know)

    * Not as big an issue as many try to make us believe.

    - Can't have weather on lock screen without some kind of unsatisfying workaround

    * Another non-issue.

    What year is it where you live? If you think the S4 Plus is one of the fastest SoCs "even today", you've obviously never experienced what newer devices can do. Or you live in 2011...

    The ugliest wart on BB10 is the uncertainty perpetuated by BlackBerry in the form of ambiguous statements one after another :

    BlackBerry10 will continued to be supported ;
    Only the business side;
    There's going to be support till July 2017;
    There will be updates to the OS;
    There will be 2 updates in 2016;
    They'll be mostly maintenance updates;
    They're going to be delays to the updates in 2016;

    We've got less than 2 hours left in 2016 and 1 more update needed to equal 2. It's uncertain we'll make it.

    BlackBerry 10 has always been very attractive, but it's the warts that draw the attention.

    Poor Onenote interface.

    Skype doesn't work to full potential.

    Discontinued Paypal in BBW. Though I switched it to the same credit card the Paypal uses. Not a big deal.

    I'll most likely jump to WM10 by the end of the year. Will probably fondly remember all the great things about BB10.

    Onenote works very well using Android app on my Passport. What version are you using?

    Swipe down from the top, select Settings, select Quick Settings, select Mobile Network. That will then be on your Quick Settings drop down Menu and it will display your Mobile Network as well as Data Services. Simply toggle it on and off as required.

    This only displays mobile network, not data, as a quick toggle.
