Then you can search ebay! What a nice new feature! XD

*EDIT: after some feedbacks on this forum, it also works with: amazon, youtube, wikipedia, and imdb!

Typing anything launch the assistant! But if you put certain right keywords, you can launch so many instant actions!

Can someone post a screenshot? My Assistant opens the browser and I don't think that's what you mean

Type "ebay" on homescreen, or in universal search-img_20150223_220652.jpg

Actually, you can follow up with your search by typing what you're looking for. So you don't just type "ebay" type "ebay dr who" to search for dr who on ebay or "amazon mario" will bring up the results for mario on Amazon.

Wow... I feel like an *****. I can't believe I haven't been taking advantage of this feature on my passport. It's so much faster and productive doing it this way. I'm constantly searching for things on amazon and imdb.

I also just found this out! I don't know whether this existed before 10.3.1. Can anyone confirm?

And also, I found out another useful finding! Before with 10.3 in universal search, if we don't close the universal search active frame, when we start to type one more time, the word is not automatically deleted, so we have to close the universal search every time we want to start a new search. Now it does in 10.3.1!

I still forget you can tweet and text from the search button. Simply type "tw" and then what you want to say.

    Such a great OS.

I brought up the keyboard on homescreen (2 fingers bottom up) and typed "ebay" but it didn't do anything.
the universal search app is so slow when you open it for the first time.
