These are two things that frustrate me with BB10, the location of the phone and camera buttons on the bottom toolbar.
How many people have set down their Z10 or Z30 only to accidentally touch either of these buttons and have the camera or phone app open and even accidentally select and call a number on the list? A confirmation feature would have been nice. Maybe I'm just clumsy.

This issue has been reported at least ten times here.

That's an issue with touch screen a whole, not just 2 icons.

Being on the Classic, I wish I could toggle on/off the touch screen at will.

I'd say the absolute most frustrating part of touchscreen BlackBerry10 for me (10.3.x) is the HUB Triage!

I'm accidentally deleting messages all the time and there is no way to disable it! -.-

Just program the 2nd action to flag instead of delete then.

That is sort-of nice, but it only works on emails! Everything else still gets deleted (like text messages, hub notifications, bbms(only sort of), you get the idea?)

Woah! Just went and checked again since I had upgraded my OS since I'd last configured them, and I'm amazed, it's almost goodish now!

Set task one to be nothing, task two to be flag.

Now only I'll accidentally delete notifications and I can live with that!

Better say: frustrate you with a touch screen. Every full touch smartphone has buttons down there. It's not BB's fault.

Yeah to me the placement of the camera and phone is actually pretty good for BlackBerry10 and I rarely hit them by accident!

The only I have had on rare occasion when BB10 UI let me down and that's the place of the end call button and accidentally hitting it whilst in a call using the handset. Tbh I haven't had any issues since switched from Z10 to the passport

I never heard anybody complaining about these buttons, I asked my wife, my mate, my brother and really know one. All saying almost the same thing which I summing up in one word " spastic? "

No it is a fairly common concern. For those who are having issues with this, what build are you on? There were some fairly large fixes that went into 10.3.0 and 10.3.1 that sought to help better mitigate against this. Definitely not fool proof, but they should help a good deal.

Agreed. Wasn't the big BlackBerry brag with regards to bb10 the ease of one hand use? Don't know anyone who can hold the phone and reach that 'cancel' button. Either gesture the screen so we can exit out of it or move the cancel button to the bottom

OK, let me summerize your answer in one word "idiotic". It's a "feature" probably only users of the Z-series have, especially the Z30. On the Q-series and the Passport it will never happen, so those users can lean back and smile. But on Z-devices the icons are very near to the edges. And they get hit by the thenar of your hand when you lay down the device on the table, again and again. I declared this several times here. Right handers tend to open the camera while lefties tend to open the telephone app. This is a real issue with those devices, you can't negate this, it happens all the time.

When my girl got her new Z30, the first thing she asked me after a day or so was "Why do I always get the damned camera app? And how can I remove all these crap pictures??? I have lots of them."

The Z10 came out in early 2013, the Z30 in late 2013. It is really hard to understand that RIM lets this issue remain for such a long time without even noticing it. Moving these damned icons a bit more into the middle of the bar, away from the edges, should be the easiest thing in the world.

I think it's more due to clumsy fingers.

But I agree with the hub triage. I also have accidentally delete messages before
