I have two Z30 phones and both say the current os is up to date but both are different. Why?
Phone with AT&T Sim is 10.3.1.1784
Phone running off wifi is 10.3.1.1767.
Thanks

Are both of your BlackBerry Z30's from the same point of origin (e.g. purchased at AT&T, unlocked from ShopBlackBerry.com, etc)?
The way the update process works with BlackBerry 10 smartphones is generally as follows:
- First, your device will check for updates based on the SIM card inserted and will report whichever OS has been approved for your device through the carrier. If you are using a device that was not sold by that carrier then you will see no update available.
- Secondly, if no SIM card is inserted then the device will check for updates based on the device's point of origin. For example, if you purchased your device unlocked from ShopBlackBerry.com then it will look to see what update BlackBerry has published for those devices. If it was purchased from AT&T, then it will check to see what the latest update is for that model from AT&T, etc.
Therefore, if your devices are from a different point of origin this may explain why you are seeing two different software releases available. If you wish to update to the very latest release and bypass the carrier update process, then you can use a tool such as Sachesi to upgrade to the latest version or create a backup using BlackBerry Link, use an autoloader (which will erase all of the data from your device) to update, and then restore the backup that you created.
Wow this is amazing information. Thank you! And yes both are from different points of origin.
