I have two Passports with the same Blackberry id on them. I kept the same id in order to be able to back up/restore easily.
One of them is beeing used by my girlfriend and have this problem: we can’t communicate through BBM if the devices have the same ID.
The invite messages simply do not appear on the other phone.

Any way to solve this?
I've read the only way to have the id changed is by wiping the phone, which is not an option for me

You are trying to send an invite to yourself. I'm amazed BBM even opens on both. The only way to have BBM function on both phones, is to wipe one and use a different BBID. I don't see how having them both with the same BBID simplifies backups anyway. The phones would still need to be backed up separately, unless you both share everything between the two, including phone numbers.

I wanted the same apps on both phones, and do not want to go into the hassle of reinstalling, big map files an no wi fi at home.

I'm surprised you able to open BBM on both phones. Usually, one should be kick out and forced logout.

Maybe, just maybe, you can try to install an Android BBM on one of the phones. I think Android BBM is not using BlackBerry IDs or something.
