Dear BlackBerry,

Even with the latest update to Twitter today, old Twitter mention notifications still get continuously pushed to the handset in the Hub and marking as read, opening them on Twitter to be "read" on Twitter's end, nor deleting does not fix the issue.

Someone on here suggested that this is working as intended because mentions aren't technically deleted. I don't buy that cop out. Mention notifications worked correctly on OS 7.1. Now they were more simplistic as on BlackBerry 10 users can open each mention notice which was not the case on OS 7.1, but I will take the small loss in functionality over glitchy annoyance causing me to turn the blasted feature off altogether anyday!

Fix the problem.

And while you're at it, make the Twitter app more useful. Currently the only customization is default to mentions. Yawn. (Though is it true BlackBerry is not at fault for this...Twitter now makes the app as does Facebook?)
