Just curious how tungle was incorporated into BB10. I miss that online calendar. Hope they bring it back. Anyone know anything?

Loved Tungle but it is dead. One can only hope for something similar.

They need to resurrect tungle.me there is still nothing as good as tungle.me was, out there on the web.

It still upsets me as well, that service was almost perfect for working with external clients, except that it synced all meeting invite info. For security purposes I needed only the time blocks synced. Was so excited when BlackBerry bought them, surely a security focused company would add this enterprise option.

But no, instead they kill it completely.

I submitted this resurrection request to icanmakeitbetter but didn't get any status update, and now they have killed that site.

John Chen, this is a service I would pay a (reasonable) subscription fee to have a nice implementation!

I take some comfort in knowing this didn't only affect me. I have been using hirefrederick but it's just not cutting it.

I also used tungle.me and it was a great service for scheduling. I was excited when I heard that RIM bought them and the features that would be incorporated into BB10. I saw a few notices that many of the team members left RIM, probably when their bonuses were paid. I think this was RIM buying the company for the talent and not the product. Sad that the best parts of tungle.me where not incorporated into the BB10.

I presume some sort of non competition agreement prevented the tungle.me people from recreating it under a different name once BlackBerry bought them and eliminated the service.
