I don't know if this has already been addressed or not so please bear with me if it has, I recently downloaded the latest Gmail Apk from the play store and when I installed it, it starts up just fine but it only displays the Gmail icon on the top left corner and it keeps minimizing itself. I am using os leak and I am also using the latest android runtime that enables the user to disregard the bar. If anyone just tell if there is a solution or let me know that Gmail is just incompatible that would much appreciated. Thank you once again to the crackberry community.

Maybe try the unlocked runtime, and/or using the debug token method?

I have tried as well with no luck. Using the unlocked ART or the debug token method does not work. It probably utilizes Google Play services which are not available on the Z and hence won't work.

Yeah I figured as much. While the hub works just fine, it would be nice to have Gmail. Anyway thx for the all the help guys.

OT question: Why do people use this app? Why not just use integrated Gmail into the Accounts for Hub email, and Calendar and Contacts integration?
