    The specifics:
I am switching (will miss it but ATT leaves me no choice with barely usable phone call service due to the LTE first switch and killed 2G last year) to iPhone SE on Sprint SIM.

What's the quickest way to transfer sms&mms to the dump phone (I mean iPhone) ? I am also new to iOS but been using Android since ice cream sandwich.

Isn't there a Content Transfer app for iPhone to go with the one in Blackberry World?

I think Blackberry made two: "Content Transfer" and "Device Switch".

The first can only transfer to android.
The second can only transfer to BB10.
I tried a premium app SmartIO and that can transfer BB10 to iOS but not sms/MMS which is the only thing I need.

I managed to insert AT&T SIM card in the iPhone hoping the AT&T Device switch app will do it - no luck, no option to transfer texts.

Ah, that's a shame. I think there did used to be a Blackberry iPhone app as detailed here:
    https://help.blackberry.com/en/conte...540195437.html

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cont...UvbUpU13313278
The app is here for the iPhone but only does Contacts, Calendar, Camera photos and Camera videos which is admittedly pretty useless!

Shame - tell me about when went to Sprint store to ask about one of those data transferring machines (I was sure they are discontinued but hope dies last).

So far, everything I found points to BB10-Android-iOS. Unless I can find a way to import them to iOS from XML file which I can create with XBAC.

So if you can work with data, have you heard of apps on BBW like Ultimate Backup, etc. Maybe you can work with the files that these programs output? This is well beyond my computing level, so it's just a suggestion!

Ultimate Backup http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/39592932 is a paid app so if you haven't bought it in the past, you are sadly not able to now via BBW. Thankfully, the dev says in his app description that you should visit runisoft.com in order to purchase it.

They might even help you out with info if you are buying the app from them.

This is not quite what the OP wanted as he is on Apple however, I came across https://damn.technology/blackberry2droid which will work with Link backup files, extract the SMS and add them to an Android phone.

I haven't used this but thought it could be of use to someone in a similar situation.
