    Just curious if anyone has toggled this on/off and noticed a major change in battery life.

    Yes, I know... I could test it myself. but... I'd someone already found out, it would save me performing a scientific experiment.

    It definitely was a battery saver for me. I only turned it on when I needed GPS, and I really didn't miss having it on all the time. Couldn't hurt!
