I was on vacation the last 2 weeks.

I am a Telus user, but have a Tmobile chip when I'm in the US.

I put in my Tmobile chip and was fine for about 4 days, then suddenly something triggered it... and the wifi calling icon showed. It basically locked my phone down. I could receive calls, but not make them, if I tried making them, it would tell me I had to go on wifi, and if I was on wifi it would tell me I didn't have the feature I needed, it was a cycle.

I tried coming on here for help.... but was unable to log in, from my phone, app, and 3 different browsers on my computer. Quite concerning, it's like I was locked out.

In any case, I am back home now, but want to delete this tmobile thing.

My phone is an unlocked, straight from blackberry phone.

While I was away I found that if I pulled the chip and turned it off, and on again with the Telus chip, I could disable the tmobile thing for a bit, put the tmobile chip back in and it was fine for a few days, until something triggered the wifi calling again.

I searched for the app to install it and disable it, but none of the links I found worked.

Can someone please provide a WORKING link of how to get what I need to disable this thing?

    thanks!

Does anyone have a working link, or a working file I can install?

    Thanks!

You need to be using a firefox browser and not a Chrome browser do we need anything to do with that world I can see that on my Blackberry keyone Android but do not download the apps if you are using Android these are strictly for BS10

I am using my computer, and that link wont work, regardless of the browser (IE, chrome, firefox).
It also won't work using the browser on my Passport.

Anyone else have any ideas? Or the file itself?

Sometimes in the bathroom I lose reception and then Wifi Calling saves me lol (can't seem to send MMS thru Wifi tho)

It's a great addition when you activate it but make the cellular signal preferred, not the WiFi. That means it will switch from Cellular to WiFi Calling when Cellular Reception is not available and then go back when Cellular is available again.

    It opens on Microsoft Edge...
and on my BlackBerry Passport Browser LOL

I was able to get to it through my passport when I scanned the QR Code on the image you posted... no other way worked... so thanks.

    HOWEVER....

this is what I got... .WTF!!!!

'Unavailable for this device'. It is an unlocked straight from blackberry device, not a Tmobile device... yet the damn thing still activates.

Now what??? It won't let me download.

Does anyone have a working file to send me?

Might need to pop in your T-Mobile SIM card for it to show up as "available" for you.

Can you play tell me how Sachesi works? I found the posting with it online and followed the link, it gave me a bunch of file formats, not really sure what to do.

I'm putting Sachesi on my phone?
What do I do exactly with it?

    thanks!

Just download Sachesi, extract it to a folder on the computer , plug your blackberry to the computer in airplane mode, open sachesi, wait for it to detect your phone, drag the tmobilesettings.bar file to the sachesi window where you see a list of a lot of bar files and wait for it to be done.

Sorry I give you so general steps, I don't have my computer and I don't like giving links from my phone, too much work. I will update this post with the links you need. At the moment please create a folder on your computer that you will be working with. And inside that one create another folder called "Bar Files" and put the file I sent you before in there.

Will edit this post later with more information if needed.

Fantastic... using sachesi worked to get the app installed.

However the app shows "error" when I open it.

And its turned 'on' (blue)... its stuck there, i cant turn it back to off.

    Thoughts?

Maybe when Im back over the border and put in the Tmobile card? does that have anything to do with it?

Yes, the T-Mobile WiFi calling app requires a T-Mobile (USA) SIM installed in the phone. With any other SIM you get the "Error".
