Brilliant! Now I dont have to bother entering my password everytime I want to check my voice mail!

One less step that helps me to "keep moving"

    Bravo blackberry.

Its been there since the first Motorola phones in the 1980's. I can't remember the syntax, but you either put a # or a , after the voicemail access number and then put in your password and saved this whole string as the voicemail access number. On a BlackBerry it is the # or you can use a menu item as shown in the blog post to enter it there.

I didn't have voicemail setup on my 9900 and there was no access number pushed to the phone and I called Rogers support to get the number and asked about storing the password and the rep had never heard of that before. It took a couple attempts to explain it to her that you can program the password into most phones so when it connects to voicemail the phone will enter the password for you.

I can't seem to get this to work on my Verizon Z10.
The voicemail access number is grayed out. Adding the password does nothing.
The voicemail works fine, but I have to add the password.
I've been unable to find the vmail number to edit it by adding the pause and then the password.
    Could this be Verizon dependent?

I am the same way in VZW also. Can't get it to auto-enter password... which is one of my most favorite call functions of all time...

Verizon allows this on other blackberry devices, right? Is this a z10 bug or a new decision by
    Verizon?

I have visuall voice mail. But wanted to add my password in as well. Just in case i want to just hit the voice mail button in the phone app. But when I click on settings then voice mail there is no place for me to enter my password as illustrated in the above message.

Has anyone done this that has visual voice mail as well??
