Looking for some help. Ever since I downloaded the OS update for my Z10 (10.0.10.85) my the Timeshift feature doesn't always work (it doesn't detect faces). I need to do a device reboot and then it usually works again. Not the best when you are trying to show off your awesome phone to people to try and convert people over. Has this happened to anyone and if so is there a fix?

A restart doesn't change anything. Take a second picture. Face detection is done on a picture by picture basis. If it didn't catch it in one picture, it's probably due to lighting or something, so just try taking another picture with better lighting, etc.

I did what you suggested and took 10 different pictures of the exact same thing and not one of them detected the face. I rebooted and the first picture I took detected the face and I was able to use th Timeshift feature. Either it is extremely coincidental or there is a bug.

The reason I think it is a bug is this has happened several times and everytime I do a reboot it works.

I'm not being an a$$ just checking to make sure you are selecting the Time Shift icon on the camera and not just the regular camera?

Lol. Don't think you are being an a$$, I would probably ask that question too. I am using the TImeshift feature. It says "detecting faces" and then it doesn't recognize them.
