Yeah the local news radio I listen to mentioned it also. It tripped me out, cause they always be talking about the others.

"BlackBerry Passport?a phone with a square screen and physical keyboard"

Lol... Is the Passport really that awesome that it's already making people forget about every other physical-keyboard BlackBerry before it?

Wow, look how you took that out of context. There is no question mark in the article and it is merely stating that 10.3 will be included in the passport which they described since it is not a phone that many people outside the interwebs don't know exists, much less THEIR readers.

Perhaps, but a square screen and a physical keyboard describes pretty much every other BlackBerry (except the sliders),.. so including that as a "description" of 'another BlackBerry device' seems redundant.

My point was that it was lazy writing/editing (never re-read it to realize it describes every previous BlackBerry), or they don't care to actually find out or describe any of the real differentiating features of the Passport.

It's not redundant if their readers never heard of a blackberry passport. (which is very likely seeing as how no link was provided within their own website). However, he provided 2 links within said description detailing what the passport is so i don't think it's lazy writing at all when the article is about the virtual assistant and NOT the passport to begin with.
