Actually native Telegram app do exists and it is open-sourced. I'm checking the code now and there are some functions in tgl library which are bit outdated in bomogram branch, but were brought up to speed in mainstream version. So I'm trying to re-merge them back and compile.

I would love a good, native GPS navigation app that supported downloading maps for use in an "offline mode" to conserve data.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Unfortunately I just tried it and it won't download any of the maps. So it's unusable. The app hasn't been updated since Dec 31, 2014.

At least it got updates in 2014.... most apps are still from 2013.

Now there are exceptions and even some very recent updates, but in general when BB10 flop at launch.... many developers moved on right away. Thankfully BlackBerry opened BB10 up to direct APK installations and Cobalt came along. If they had stuck to requiring tokens and sideloading....

Genius Maps: native, offline, supports traffic and 3D landscape, maps are from 2017.

    Thanks for your support.
I think there are a lot users that are ready to support/buy a good native app.
Will it be a social app? Game? For work?

    For work.
I'll be happy to pay for native: Telegram, Wechat, Proton Mail.
    Other "nice to have":
    - resurrected Print To Go, BB Travel, Story Maker. Or new apps with similar functions and so comfortable to use.
    - Wikipedia.
    - something similar to Work Wide (it was great and promising app but abandoned...)

blend and link would be nice... to make money, AR overlay some virtue "2080" would be nice... back to the future... (target scifi geek instead of silly pokemon user).. - make sure avoid hospital and police station (should labled as danger zone using map...). it will bring BB10 back again. hopefully. (beware of small memory of BB10 handset).

I've yet to see a "I'm considering writing apps for BB10" post that doesn't devolve into unrealistic requests.

Anyway, @ OP, if you want to learn Qt you're best off going with 5.x; 4.x went EOL in 2015.
