I'm looking to disable images from showing in the browser in order to preserve bandwidth when I am using my data connection. This feature exists on the BB7 browser as well as android. I can't seem to find it on BB10 however. Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of a way to do this in BB10. Why don't you install a browser with data compression features like Opera mini? I had the Android version running on my Z10 without issues.

How about using the reader mode?

Reader mode would be fine for the most part (it still shows some images), but it seems useless to save the bandwidth.
the Browser first renders the full page and then converts it to reader. So no savings in download here.
What would be needed is a browser that directly loads in to reader mode only.
Or the simple old toggle switch in the browser settings: Load Images On/Off.

You can uncheck the 'load images automatically ' in the browser settings
