    I keep trying different podcast apps, and am yet to be happy with one.

    I want one that can search and find podcasts for me ( I don't want to have to input URL's) and that once I have subscribed it will poll and download for me when new podcasts are available.

    I have tried:

    Podcast Republic
    Podcasts to go
    rss Savvy

    Is there anything like Downcast?

    Try Nobex.
    It can't auto download but does notify you every time there's a new podcast
    Edit:
    There's an auto download option but I've personally never tried it
