I normally pick my phone up each time I hear that a message is receive so that I can read it. In order to do so - i either need to do one or two swipes to the left to get to see all of my accounts or use a long-press on my keyboard shortcut.

Is there any way to set the phone up so that when I enter my password it opens the Hub (showing my accounts) - so as to avoid all those swipes?

Thanks for any advice in advance!

What if you tap on the message notification on your lock screen?

My phone locks off after 5 minutes - and I prefer this screen not to display messages to others around me!

I suppose a Headless App could open it when it detects that the device is Unlocks ( providing Headless Apps can use the invocation framework like that, not sure myself)

thurask is right, use the Lock Screen Settings. "Lock" doesn't mean "Password lock" here...

Got to Settings > Notifications > Lock Screen Settings and enable Lock Screen Notifications. As you afraid someone read the preview content of any message you may receive, enable also Show Sender Only. Icons of your notifications will be interactive and you'll be able to launch the HUB from the lock screen...

Thanks - I am aware of this as an option - but others can still see who is messaging me.

For those of us that use our Blackberry principally to message (and multiple times a day) - the option to go straiht into the Hub would be great!

There is no setting to set Hub as default screen when unlocking; BB10 displays the last screen you were on before the screen is shut off or locked, you'll have to go to the Hub before locking your phone.

Hopefully 10.3.3 will give one the option to choose which is the default screen!

I have just downloaded. There is no option except 4 digits. I am not sure why but I prefer my old password = 8 letters/symbols.

On reflection I think what I am looking for is a lock screen with a couple of icons that I could press (perhaps Hub Calander remember home etc) - that would then require me to enter my device Password - before opening the specific app or location.

    Does this exist?

Without displaying at least the sender, no.

    Enter hub.
Shut off screen by upper button.
When you swipe up, you're in the hub!

(works even with locked screen, after picture password, it opens and you see the hub)
