    Is there an app or settings for the 10.3 OS to change the background colours for incoming and outgoing text messages, I mean to differentiate in and out of course it is easy to tell depending on how fussy one wants to be any ideas????

    Not natively. I also have not seen a third party app for OS 10. OS7 had one but I don't think OS10 does....

    I thought that was the case, I have searched high and low for something to brighten my SMS interface.. Perhaps something will come later everyone else seems to do it...

    It has a free version which am sure won't work because there is also a paid version which means you'll be prompted to upgrade I am one for giving developers chance ( or supporting developers) so I might have a look into it.....Mixed reviews suggests that it needs some work

    I agree that the text message appearance is way too bland. It doesn't differentiate incoming from outgoing messages.
