Text selecting paragraphs at a time

This is new to me....maybe it's old news. when I hold press text the selection tool appears. By mistake I held and pressed while holding down the right bevel swipe area and the select button began automatically selecting text a paragraph at a time until I let go. Do others know about this or is it just me?

Yes, it was an "unadvertised" addition with the 10.1 MR, iirc.

It doesn't work everywhere. Seems to in native environments like messages, browser, etc.
