If anyone is familiar with T-Mobile or Blackberry's mechanism of sending CARRIER SPECIFIC software packages to BB10 phones, I could sure use some help?

I'm in Toronto, Canada - with a T-Mobile SIM in my Q10 which runs perfectly using OS 10.1.0.4200 including Wifi Calling.

BUT whenever I install any version of 10.2.1 everything EXCEPT Wifi Calling works - but I *NEED* WiFi calling critically!

I am now convinced that the T-Mo network sends its essential WiFi calling files and instructions to the Q10 ONLY once the OS has been loaded, and the phone connects to the cellular network for its initial run - when 'carrier specific additional files' are requested and received.

Could ANYONE please send me links to the files which are delivered as the additional package when someone initially updates a BB10 phone in T-Mobile land?

    Thanks so much!

    Don't post your phone number.

Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2228 from t mobile works fine with wifi calling.

Why not? If *anyone* can actually help me, I'd be delighted to hear from them by any means?

As it stands, I am afraid I'm going to literally need to travel back into the US to re-initialize my Q10 while connected exclusively to T-Mo's Cellular network...

Yes, I'm sure it does - and I'm sure my Q10 will also, as soon as I can get the necessary files from somewhere!

Negative - I am roaming in Canada on the Rogers' network. When I upgraded via BBLink, it installed only the Rogers additional software.
When I reinstalled using an autoloader from here, the same situation persisted - I received none of the TMo specific files like WifiCalling control or IMS features.

When I again reinstalled via Sachesi, I now DID have the WifiCalling .bar and other files for the TMo distribution, but NOT the stuff which is automagically downloaded when a person completes an upgrade while connected to T-Mobile's own mobile service.

What I need to find is a way to get my phone updated AS THOUGH it was in the US, connected to T-Mobile directly, as opposed to via internet/wifi.

Any assistance would be tremendously helpful!

Fantastic! Now, how can I get the carrier-specific files I need to be able to utilize it on my own phone, without having to fly back to the US and reinstall my OS while connected directly to T-Mobile cellular towers, THAT is the real question?

    (sigh)
