hi again helpful crackberrians! i would like to do a non-destructive upgrade on my sqn100-4. i used sachesi to look up the sqn100-5 and i hit download all. once that finished, all the files end in "-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar" and i dont know which i need to drag onto the install tab with my phone connected. or if i even need to do anything else. help please!

I've gotten it on my T-Mobile branded Q10 and Z10, but not on my unlocked Q10 with the T-Mobile sim card in or out.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Wifi calling doesn't work on my vz z30 with tmobile sim. Anyone else find this to be true? When I go to bb world after side loading wifi calling bar i get not supported for this device and in the app the on off is greyed out. Is tmobile really that finicky that you have to have a z10 or q10? Ugh.

The fact that you're using an unsupported device is more then likely at play here.

I understand it's not a tmobile device but like with android for instance if the device doesn't come with the wifi calling app you can download the apk and get it working no problem. Or at least has been my experience in the past with android. My angst (small a) is that there is no reason the app shouldn't work as long as your using a bb10 device and have a legitimate tmobile sim. For the life of me it's not like your going to steal wifi calling while using another carrier sim and get free calls. Please understand I dislike android but don't understand why they lock out wifi calling on bb10 when they don't on android.

I loaded the new os for the q10 on my unlocked z30 am switched out the radios to keep the one I was using that worked well with T-Mobile on my z30 STA100-5 from gsm nation ( works on teles in Canada ...and works perfect on t mobile LTE in us...So far the only thing I did Get what's the t mobile app, did Not get the WiFi calling ..everything else works so far
Using radio 10.2.1.1899, os 10.2.1.2228

WiFi calling has to be supported by the carrier you are using, and provisioned on your device.

Verizon doesn't support the technology that T-Mobile uses for that ("IMS"), and I wouldn't be surprised if T-Mobile would not support it on a device not designed for their network, either.

A Verizon-specific device can work on T-Mobile, but lots of the data functionality is crippled or limited.

I read something somewhere that not only doe the device need to work on the network but the firmware is specific to the device...My unlocked z30 with t-mobile software specific to their network for the q10 doesn't allow me to use wifi calling..sad but true...

Whenever i set up my device after a loading a leak or other carrier official OS i set up my clouds(specifically dropbox) and under network settings IMS is now listed as active. Z10 VZW.

Thank god for leaks. Will reach home and try it out... I am sure the radio will be the same. Never experienced call drops before but it seems that post 1956 I am having nothing but trouble keeping a call from not dropping.
