Any way to update my STL100-2 without destroying my data?
Hard to believe a Leafs fan agreeing with habsfan but I agree with him. But if you're scuuured you can look up how to update non destructively using sachesi. I'm sure Thurask has posted what to do. Take a look

    a) what's new in it comparing to 10.2.1.2102?

    b) if i'm with stl100-2 - can I update this TMO update.... and is it worth if I'm on 10.2.1.2102?!

    a) Check second post in thread.

    b) You can use the STL100-3 files (Country 310, Carrier 260, Device STL100-3) to upgrade your STL100-2. Is it worth it? If you have the time, why not?

Looks like I did a quick reply instead of a reply with quote to your question. Yes, Wi-Fi Calling works post official T-Mobile USA Update.
great news. I looked in BBW and a couple people said in comments that it worked. I cant wait to get home and update.

hmmm, Wi-Fi Calling says OTA failed. Everything else seems to be correct. Any suggestions.

EDIT: did an uninstall and reinstalled from BBW...still get OTA failed message. Is there a newer version of Wi-Fi calling than 10.1.1.127 on BBW?

Unlike 1926, you can actually download the STL100-4 radio bar and load that instead of the STL100-2/3 bar. Download bars, delete other radio, use this one instead:

    Code:
    [link shortened]/qc8960.omadm-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

Thanks for the link. I'm always too lazy to look those URLs up.

I don't know if it was the radio file or what, but my STL100-4 didn't like the OS file. Loaded the radio fine, about 30% through loading the OS file it restarted and reverted to previous.

Will try this radio file and see what happens.

The files are the same, although I don't think you need to load the T-Mobile WiFi Calling bar file.

I already did the download, backing up now before I restart to let it finish the install to be on the safe side.
This funny to see T-Mobile have something out there that everybody wants when they were one of the last to "officially" update to 10.2.1

Thank You T-Mobile for sending this update out and I hope wifi-calling works once I get it done with the back-up

Will update this post when I get done backing up and a restart

First fix...get change log title corrected from 2288 to 2228.
Thanks for putting the change log together...it's a big job.
On VZW the LTE signal strength seems a little weak. Got to make a dash for the airport....

    Go right ahead.

They're the same thing. Software version vs OS version.

There is no dedicated STL100-1 download URL yet, so do the following:

Download either of the Q10/STL100-3 file sets, then once it's all downloaded, delete qc8960.factory_sfi-10.2.1.2141-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (both models) and qc8960.wtr-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (Q10) or qc8960-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar (STL100-3).

Download these files, put them with the rest of the OS and load as usual:

    Code:
    http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/qnx/production/0b7f38a72a6c47d62e2735027762d50fd3ae3abe/com.qnx.coreos.qcfm.os.factory/10.2.1.2228/winchester.factory_sfi-10.2.1.2228-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar

    http://cdn.fs.sl.blackberry.com/fs/qnx/production/0b7f38a72a6c47d62e2735027762d50fd3ae3abe/com.qnx.qcfm.radio.m5730/10.2.1.2229/m5730-10.2.1.2229-nto+armle-v7+signed.bar
