Unfortunately, voice dictation does not work in 10.3.3.xxx (or doesn't work yet)
I tried two languages, in both cases recording stops immediately and than it says 'unable to begin voice dictation, please try again later'.

I really love this feature and I believe BlackBerry have done this better than iOs or the little green robot.

Do you think it will come back to live soon?

No issue here. Try switching language for Assistant, and then switching it back.

Anyone who is still waiting for this update and hasn't seen it yet, try rebooting your device. It made it appear for me on reboot.

The first thing I noticed is the Device Monitor app is gone...

Device Monitor works just like before on my device.

Did you just lose the shortcut? Try opening it from Settings. (App Manager/Device Monitor)

I have had issues at times that I think relates to how the processor is calculating the length of my press and/or the quality of WiFi is affecting something.

Try a shorter long press to activate dictation.

Dictate text into what app?

Can you try sending an SMS with it? Does that work?

Does not work neither
I've tied so far:
- several restarts and soft resets
- change languages there and back
- turn assistant on & off
- turn dictation on & off


After holding '.' it jumps immediately to 'done' mode and brings pop up message 'unable to...'

Now, when I try to use assistant, it tells me 'Can't connect to voice server. Please try again'.

Any ideas?

Do you think reinstall by autoloader would help?
I try to avoid autoloader, since I'm on Mac and via VM it's a tricky business... done everything via Sachesi until now.

Is BlackBerry BLEND still working under 10.3.3


Pity that the update is what it is and nothing more than a secure and performance update and that was what we all expected but some of us where hoping for more. I see it just like the last Playbook update and hope there will be a new update in performance for some apps like the browser and more. I move slowly away this weekend to Android to check out, because at the moment my finance apps and works app are not working and I have alternative but without Android runtime support better move to Android. Thanks BlackBerry for the best OS I ever used, but it seems the new BlackBerry OS is Android and hope they manage to get it in in the same shape like BB10.
