Turn phone off at night, then it won't have the ability to reboot. Issue solved....thank you!


No, for real though, I have not had this issue and neither has anyone on the team that I know of. It could be any number of apps causing the issue.

finally working on my stl100-1 with latest leaked os,1521..=) my solution = security wipe then load the file and follow the instruction.. =)

So the quick and dirty,

if you didn't know, we have 1581, however we don't have a radio, it sucks.

So we're doing the next best thing, dumping the files everyone cares about. DARK THEME!!!!

AS PER USUAL: WE (BERRYLEAKS) NOR CRACKBERRY, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO YOUR DEVICE SO DON'T WHINE IF YOU BLEEP IT UP (yes I'm in a good mood)

Installation: (This is important people, read this ****) Extract all the files from the link that'll be provided below. Sideload with your favorite bar installer, wether that be via PC with Chrome Extension, DDPB, or OTA with Sideswype

We've tested this on OS's 10.2.0.1427, 10.2.0.1443, and 10.2.0.1521, and we can guarantee it'll work. (Read known issues)

Known Issues: We don't know results for lower than the above specified OS's

Known Issues: Some team members have had issues getting contacts theme to take. (Specifically 1521OS, yet others had it work on 1521OS wierd **** i know right)

How to Use: (another important point) Once installed, go into the app (either contacts or calendar), go to Settings, and change the visual style to your choosing. NOW YOU MUST CLOSE AND RELAUNCH THE APP FOR THE CHANGE TO HAPPEN.

Hey Kris, I referred this link from you to someone on here that wanted the dark theme back.Didn't think about it at the time, but I believe they were running 1332 with the latest runtime. Will this work with this build as well as later builds you mentioned? If not I'd like to tell them to not load it to save time in case it screws the current os up. Thanks a ton...

I think it works but just to be safe you could tell them to have a copy of the (I think you meant) 1323 bar at the ready.

Thanks Toobs!! I saw the typo and edited it out afterwards-lol! I've seen Kris's post with that bar file download everywhere but it always refers to high numerical builds so I posted it with a disclaimer that I wanted to verify before they loaded it. Worst case is they can reload the os over. Thank you for catching that too!

Yes to get Contacts to work properly you can't use restore. Everything has to be setup from scratch. A pain but at least things are nice and clean and more importantly working, dark themes and all.

When I was testing on my device, restoring data and media separately while not restoring settings allowed the black Contacts theme to work properly.

I'm wondering if doing this, changing all settings manually, and creating a new backup will resolve the issue moving forward...

Can I use this on my Q10 too? Running 10.2.0.1443..

EDIT: Both worked on my Q10, but only the Calendar worked on my Z10, even after a reboot. 3/4... I'll take it.
