Just seems to be a little missing element from the Calculator app. The number pad in the Tip and Converter functions should be in the usual 3x3, dial pad style layout. Typing across a full qwerty row is so counterintuitive for these functions.

Very True, the calculator app was one great improvement from initial gimmicky version.. having 3x3 keypad would be take it further to better.

Also there are always alternative apps, that doesn't mean the stock ones shouldn't evolve.
