Leakossium hehe



I had. 1925/1926 leak and am one of those guy's that would still check everyday for software updates.
I started to download .2141 and hooked my z10 up to link to do a backup and it came up that I had an official ota update to. 537 see screengrab above.
Now I'm really confused, I know that the official and the last big leak were exactly the same but it has taken me back to. 1899 radio which I have heard is a bucket of $hite.
I also noticed that after getting the ota nothing changed on my phone appwise yes I still have "flappy bird".
So should I install the new leak or is this it, I had read through most of the forum and heard a few comments saying that the os version would eventually change to show the new number, so what shall I do????

If you want the latest and greatest in terms of BB10 OS'es you should install the leak you were (or are) downloading.

If you are happy with the build you recieved OTA then just stick with that. In my experience .2242 loads apps faster and extends te batterylife in comparison to. 537.

10.2.1.2142 is a newer build than 10.2.1.537 and as suchs contains a number of bugfixes and other improvements.

Anything you changed from the original 1925 leak would also differ from the official as they are the same. Such as the radio, camera, clock etc. This will trigger the update that would replace these edited bar files cause as far as the update server sees is you don't match official.

Doesn't matter if some feel 1899 is better than 1926. Official release has 1899. As did the original leak.
For some the 1899 was better. For others 1926 was better. For me. I didn't notice a difference.

Since this was an update through link it's non destructive. So it updates what it needs to without destroying what you have. In your case it only replaced the radio file.... which has nothing to do with Flappy Bird.
Now if you run the exe with the new leak.... that is destructive. so you will lose everything.

Cheers guy's, have installed the new leak and everything seems fine so far, i always do a backup and then a restore and have never had a problem.
