Actually I just checked this again, honestly it is not much faster than tapping and holding then hitting delete, or just double tapping the menu key (since delete is right there) while reading the e-mail..

To get the menu appear, you need to press and hold, basically you need same amount of time to wait before menu appears, sliding may eventually lead to mistake by hitting the wrong key.

You can reset the hub. Swipe from top to center 5 times in a row. It will refresh the hub.

Reset the hub... about an hour later here comes the same damn 19 twitter notifications I keep deleting. For now I have turned off Twitter in the hub management so they don't keep showing in the hub. Must an issue with the Twitter app.

Also very important next unread / previous unread functions are missing.
