Is anyone still having the issue screenshotted below?

I've been having it since taking the last software update and was wondering if there has been a fix yet or a work around other than having to leave the article to watch it on YouTube.

It happens with all web sites with embedded videos. It is getting really frustrating.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Well it works when desktop mode is on hut I prefer not to keep my browser in desktop mode. This never happened before. Embedded videos played in both modes without issue.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

I just tried the same video on my Z10 from pagesix.com and it played fine, not in desktop mode, and I tried it with and without Flash enabled. It worked both ways. Did you ever click to disable streaming video the first time you tried playing a Youtube video? It will give you a popup regarding data usage when playing streaming video.

Don't remember it any different as not working in mobile mode sometimes. I believe it's dependent of the setup of the website.

Youtube blocks some content if embedded on mobile for example.

I can't recall. Is there something I can go do in settings to check? If you don't mind, what should the settings be?

I know if I try to play a you tube video when not connected to wifi I get no warning message about data.

    Thank you

It works with Adobe Flash disabled but does not work when I enable it.

If I am correct we want to have Flash enabled to ensure Web sites that depend on it display and function properly right?

So I wonder why it would work with flash disabled but doesn't with it enabled.

By the way this happens on all sites with embedded you tube videos. I just get the error messages if I try to play the movies.

I'm also having this problem and opening in YouTube doesn't help.

    Turning on Wifi however, does.

Click the youtube logo and will take you to the youtube site. There you can play the video.

I didn't think of that yesterday. I had WIFI on when I played the video. I tried it today without WIFI and it still worked. I suspect it has to do with what I mentioned earlier, selecting the option to not play streaming video while using the data plan on the message that pops up the first time you try to do so. It would still work with WIFI. I do not know if you can access that setting.

That sounds plausible. Does anyone know how you to bring up this setting?

Thank you for all the replies.

I know about clicking in the YouTube logo but sometimes I don't want to leave the site.

I figure this has something to do with Adobe Flash because when I shut it off the embedded video plays without having to go directly to YouTube.
