I'm using my new Z30 for a few days now and I load up a lot of Android apps over the Amazon app store. I really works well but the start up time of some of the Android apps is a bit long - at least compared to the same apps running on my wife's IPhone.

Do you think there will be further improvements in performance with 10.3?

I think so too. Think would definitely change over time. I think JC would never want to keep BlackBerry users feel left out.

Since loading the leaked 10.3, Android start times have improved massively. A couple of threads about it already.

Still not perfect but barring a couple of apps, it's definitely acceptable.

Agree. 10.3 seems to be optimized a lot for android apps.

Not a big surprise considering the Amazon deal.

Yes, especially with respect to the probable scenario of not having lots of new native apps the performance with android apps is essential for the overall experience with BlackBerry 10.
