I had the same problem, spotify was sooo slooooow on my passport with endless loading-so i got my leap and spotify ran like a rabbit...mmm...the problem must have been something else.

solution: i uninstalled the app on my passport AND deleted the the spotify folder manually, after rebooting and reinstalling the app, everything was fine-fast start and all playlists were browseable.

I have Spotify installed from Amazon app store, version 4.4.0.1008 Works like a charm. Also check your settings....both in Spotify and on your device, for how you download - either over cellular network, downloading while roaming, wifi only, etc. It's all cusomizable to suit your data plan etc. Your settings will affect how fast the program runs. Best is to have wifi. Also there are 4 settings in Spotify for music quality...automatic, normal, high, and extreme quality. Any of these things could be affecting you. Good luck! It's a great app when it works. I have a passport running10.3.2.556
Same, I installed mine from Amazon App Store - no problems at all. I'm running on ClassicSQC100-1/10.3.2.2639.

Wow, I deleted the cache folder on the SD card and Spotify is running like a champ again. Thanks for the tip, it was starting to take forever to load even the main page and browse my music tabs.

So I deleted the app, all the memory files and installed again (the funny thing is that I couldn't install using cobalt play store or Amazon app store. Both apps were opening only inside stores. The app were not on my device. The only one that did correctly was Snap). It seems to run much better now. This is only the first day after, but things are better now, specially search features.

So basically we have to delete the app, delete all files and reinstall in a regular basis for a good performance? Something to do with bb10 or Spotify versions?

I did the same as you did. Noticed now that spotify won't appear on device monitor. The monitor says it is using no battery. Even after a day that I used the app for, at least, 3 hours. Funny...
